What is FunZone?

FUNZONE is a Project Cornerstone program that gives kids a creative alternative to regular recess. It provides a variety of activities including drawing, crafts and origami, Legos, carnival games, and music. FUNZONE promotes friendships across classrooms and grades, offers a different play option for kids, and lets parent volunteers model respectful behavior and moderate social interactions. All students in grades 1-5 can learn something new, play creatively, make friends and feel welcome.

WHERE: Playground behind the Library
WHEN: Every Tuesday, 12:10 - 1:10 PM
WHO: 2-3 Parent Volunteers (FunVisors) per session

Volunteering is flexible: sign up for as many times as suits your schedule. It’s a great option for working parents to volunteer during their lunchtime. Without volunteers we cannot run this program! Please sign up today.
