Fun Zone

The Fun Zone is a part of Project Cornerstone created to offer opportunities to all kids on the playground at lunchtime including kids that are left on their own during lunch recess and/or find it difficult to navigate the large social scene.  Once a week, the Fun Zone is an area of activities such as Legos, paper airplane making, kinetic sand, drawing, and other fun activities that allow students to simply have fun during recess.  Adult volunteers interact with the kids and encourage the kindness, understanding and inclusiveness that Project Cornerstone stresses through the classroom activities.
